Golfwidow did this on Facebook, and I thought it was cute (and I was blanking on what to write about today), so I decided to steal it and use it. I’m not tagging anyone because I’m too lazy to link to all those people, so if you feel like being tagged, you’re totally tagged.
Once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a note with 16 random things, shortcomings, facts, habits or goals about you. At the end choose 16 people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. You have to tag the person who tagged you.
So here’s me:
1. The only pre-bagged teas that I like are green teas. All other teas must be loose. (And I’m damn picky about my brand, too)
2. I’ve been described as an “anglophile” by several people. I’m afraid they’re more correct than I’d like to admit.
3. I love buying things on sale. I feel like I’ve accomplished something great when I buy something at half price.
4. I am a card-carrying Cherokee tribe member. Unfortunately, I don’t look Indian. I think I resemble the Dutch ancestors more.
5. My favorite movie is and always will be Peter’s Friends. If you haven’t seen it and I know you even a little, I will probably try to force you to watch it with me. Unfortunately, only people with vaginas seem to like it. Except for Matt – but I think he may have been lying just to please me.
6. As open and honest as I seem to be, in my day-to-day and on my blog, I still keep a lot of things private. I’m starting to wish that I had the guts to fully put myself out there.
7. My co-workers are sometimes unbearable to work with, but I love what I do at my job so much that I’m actually able to overlook that.
8. I have made it a goal in life to see/own every film version of Pride and Prejudice and the movies that are based on it, even if they are terrible or follow themes that are not in line with my beliefs. Bride and Prejudice is one of my favorites to date – it combines Bollywood and Jane Austen. I call that a win.
9. I’d like to buy Kenneth Branagh a Boddington’s at my favorite bar and just sit at a table and talk to him. Forever.
10. I used to consume a gallon of orange juice a day. I still consume copious amounts of the stuff.
11. I have never seen The Notebook, nor do I have any interest in it. Ever.
12. I never could get the hang of Thursdays. Or Mondays. Or any day that requires going into work.
13. I am a Mah Jong master.
14. I used to hate cooking, now I try to cook every night and bake two or three times a week.
15. Anthony Bourdain’s earring unnerves me.
16. I have been known to read a fan-fic or two. Or three. Oh, shut up.
You wild thing. I found your blog address in an old email. So, Happy to know you’re alive. I’ll try to catch up on you. You’re not pregnant or married or anything by now are you? What kind of work do you do now? And are you ever going to leave KC?
hey, what’s your facebook link?

However you want to do it, lady. But there’s nothing wrong with leaving a little to the imagination. What if you become a famous writer someday? Do you really want the internets to hold all your secrets?
